Luke Groothoff graduated summa cum laude from Messiah University in 2022 with a B.A. in Biomedical Art & Design. He worked as a scientific illustrator at Elucida Research, a private biochemistry and pharmaceutical research facility in Beverly, MA, creating figures and animations to enhance the impact of their research discoveries. As a co-founder of Elucida Communications alongside Dr. Mason and Dr. Sherratt, Luke holds the role of Creative Director & Senior Biomedical Animator. Combining his scientific expertise, artistic storytelling experience, and technical biovisualization skills, he guides the team’s creative vision while overseeing the production of impactful animations and illustrations.
